About the role
We have a very exciting opportunity on offer for the position of LVLY Pick-packer at our Melbourne HQ! You will be responsible for the end-to-end management from pick-pack, dispatch, to deliveries.

About you
You’re a confident self-starter, with great attention to detail and care for customer experience. You thrive working with a close-knit team, and independently as required. You’re flexible, adaptable and love wearing different hats. You’re comfortable working in a small business environment, and you have great passion for the company you’re a part of. You like to have a laugh and you’re great to get along with; but you equally know how to get down to business. No formal qualifications are required for this role, aside from a can-do attitude.

Job tasks and responsibilities

At a high level, you will be responsible for:
• Management of orders; getting all orders (flowers & gifts) ready for our couriers to collect
• Stock control and audit
• Team and communication

1.) Management of orders
• Managing the preparation, dispatch and delivery of orders
• Actioning requests for any changes to orders
• Communicating with delivery drivers ensuring the seamless operation of timely deliveries
• Briefing new drivers about the safe transport of flowers in their car within flower tubs, as well as how to successfully and safely deliver gifts
• Ensure all orders being sent out are to our LVLY standards

2.) Stock control and audit
• Conduct weekly stocktake reports and check on levels of products and packaging
• Management and reporting of faulty stock
• Create new ways of being efficient with stock, workplace flow and storage

3.) Team and communication
• Communicate with the founders, business advisors and Melbourne team at all times to keep transparency on progress and any problems that may arise
• Foster an outgoing and fun environment in the Melbourne office
• Establish and maintain relationships with couriers

General team tasks
• Help to keep the desks and prep area clean at all times
• Assistance of cleaning up preparation space, carrying stock from deliveries and clearing out old/used jars, emptying bins
• Help with any job assigned so that we can try to achieve our LVLY vision at all times

Skills and experience
• Highly organised – co-ordinating multiple tasks at one time is crucial
• Calm under pressure – must be able to work effectively and problem solve in a fast paced environment
• Passion and drive – we’re big believers that enthusiasm, passion and can-do attitude will get you everywhere
• A list-maker and note-taker – planning ahead and efficiently ticking stuff off a to-do list will be important
• Great decision making skills
• Strong communicator
• Attention to detail
• Team player and motivator, as well as an independent worker

4.) Job details, benefits and perks
• 3-5 half days per week, Afternoons, depending on availability
• $20 per hour
