LVLY (pronounced lovely) was co-founded by Hannah Spilva adn Verity Tuck. It started with a purpose, not a product. Living away from home and missing the people they loved, Hand and Vez wanted to build something that would keep loved ones connected and spread a bit of joy along the way. They also saw a gap in the market for flowers and gifts that weren't the traditional red roses and fluffy teddy bears. From there on out, LVLY was born.
Our playful brand, customisable products, and world-class customer service means we stand out from the crowd – which is exactly where we like to be! Since 2015, we've fine-tuned our products packaging, and pricing to deliver something genuinely special. Throw in personalisation and customisation options that bring a whole new dimension of thoughtfulness, and you've got a gifting experience that's unmistakably LVLY.
We back local - from Aussie flower growers, to small businesses, and operating a way that treads lightly on the planet. The philosophy is simple: lovely to people, lovely to Australia, and lovely to the planet.
Most people don't realise that around 60%* of flowers sold in Australia are imported from overseas. Flown in from all over the world, in transit for up to a week, rackin up a serioud carbon footprint and picking up pesticides at border control along the way. Our Paddock to Posy™ promise means longer-lasting flowers for our customers, mrore support for Aussie flowers farmers, and better outcomes for our planet.
Every year, we give people the option to opt out of Mother's Day and Father's Day emails. It feels important. The "Don't forget Mum/Dad" style messages can land hard for anyone who's estranged from, or has lost, a mother, father, or child.
We've been blown away by how customers have responded to out Thought Marketing Movement. The goal is simple: shift the culture around brand communications, and put empathy front and centre in how we talk to the people we love.
We hope we can make yours!
