Co-founded in 2014 by Han Spilva and Vez Tuck, LVLY was born from a real sense of purpose: to help people show up for each other, to make someone's day, and to do it in a way that genuinely cares about the people, the country, and the planet involved. Over a decade on, we're proud to be one of Australia's most loved flower and gifting brands, and even prouder of what we've built underneath the cheeky tone.
LVLY exists to make people's days. That includes the people receiving the flowers, the ones sending them, the team behind them, and the wider community we serve.
We're known for our warm, playful brand voice and our world-class personalisation, but the values underneath are quieter: inclusive, thoughtful, authentic, and designed to leave people with more energy than they started with.
That ethos shows up most clearly in our Thoughtful Marketing Movement. Every year, before Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas, we give every subscriber the option to opt out of those campaigns entirely. No catch, no follow-up. Because those moments can be genuinely heavy for plenty of people, and we'd rather lose the email than push on someone who's grieving, estranged, or just needs to sit one out. It's the move that's earned LVLY some of its biggest goodwill and word-of-mouth, and we're proud to be one of the only Australian flower brands doing it.
We back local. From day one, LVLY has been committed to supporting Australian flower growers and small Australian businesses doing brilliant work in this country.
Our Paddock To Posy™ promise means we prioritise flowers grown here, by people we know, on land we care about. A significant portion of flowers sold in Australia are imported, flown in from all over the world and in transit for up to a week. We do it differently. By sourcing from Aussie growers, our blooms are fresher when they reach you, our local flower farmers get the support they deserve, and the Australian flower industry stays alive for the next generation.
Beyond flowers, we partner with Australian small businesses for almost everything else in what we send. Our cookie bakers, plant care suppliers, treat-makers, and packaging partners are all local legends whose values are aligned with ours. If something arrives in a LVLY box, chances are an Australian small business was paid to make it.
We don't claim to have it all figured out. But we work hard to tread lightly.
Our 'Someone thinks you're awesome' gift boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard, right here in Australia. They take far less energy than producing new cardboard, and we've designed them to be recycled again so the cycle keeps going.
Our iconic flower jars are built to last and made to be useful long after the flowers fade. Pen holders, snack jars, plant pots, reusable vases, take your pick. The personalised ones in particular tend to stick around in someone's home for years.
